Coming out of San Diego, California, Unwritten Law has a power punk sound all of its own. The band features three guitar players, including Scott Russo, their chief songwriter and lead vocalist. Unwritten Law has stated that they play most of their songs acoustically before ever adding metal effects. This unorthodox approach towards punk music is perhaps one of their most unusual attributes.
